Add an outer border with color and rounded corners

Frame one photo with an even border on all four sides. Set its width in pixels, choose a color and adjust corner radius. The border expands the image canvas instead of covering the photo edges.

How to use this tool

  1. Open a JPEG, PNG or WebP image.
  2. Choose border width, color and corner radius. Check the new dimensions in the output information.
  3. Generate and download the framed image, or send it directly to collage, watermark or compression.

Settings and output

  • A 1200 × 900 image with a 30-pixel border becomes 1260 × 960 before any accepted output reduction.
  • Rounded outer corners create transparent areas when exported as PNG or WebP.
  • For JPEG, choose the visible background color used to fill transparent corners.

Common questions

Does the border cover part of my photo?

The border is added outside the image. A corner radius can clip the photo corners when it extends beyond the border width; inspect the preview before saving.

Why are rounded corners white in my JPEG?

JPEG cannot store transparency. The export background fills the transparent corners. Use PNG or WebP when you need a transparent background.
